Joshua Wright, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2019, in Markham, Illinois. Joshua was sitting in a parked car with his girlfriend and their newborn son when an SUV pulled up alongside them. The assailant fired at least 13 bullets into the vehicle, striking Joshua in the head. He was pronounced dead at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.
