Caleb Springfield, an 18-year-old African American male from Calumet Heights, Chicago, was tragically killed on May 14, 2019. The incident occurred in the Stony Island Park neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. According to reports, officers responded to calls of shots fired at approximately 1:59 p.m. and found Caleb unresponsive on the sidewalk in the 1800 block of East 86th Street.
