Death by Force

John Timmons, a 30-year-old man, was tragically shot to death on June 3, 2019, in the Fifth City neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. He was found unresponsive in the street with a gunshot wound to the back of his head around 3:06 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Congress Parkway. The Chicago police and Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed his death at the scene. An autopsy was pending at the time, and Area North detectives were actively investigating the case.
