Marquise Hines, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 11, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Marquise was standing outside in the first block of North Parkside Avenue in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago when he was shot. According to reports, someone in a silver sedan fired shots at him around 1:02 p.m. He was struck in the head and was immediately taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
