Jamini Sutton, a 15-year-old African American boy from Hazel Crest, Illinois, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2019. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of 171st Street and Park Avenue. Jamini was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at a traffic light when another vehicle pulled up alongside and someone inside opened fire.
