Gavile Jackson, an 18-year-old African American male from Mundelein, IL, was tragically shot and killed on May 28, 2020. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a Walgreens located at 345 North Lake Street in Mundelein. According to the Lake County Coroner, Dr. Howard Cooper, Gavile Jackson died as a result of injuries sustained from a gunshot wound.
