Jasean Francis, a 17-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on June 20, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. when Jasean and his friends, including 16-year-old Charles Riley, went to a store in South Chicago to buy candy. Inside the store, they encountered 19-year-old Laroy Battle, who was notably tall. The teenagers commented on Battle's height, expressing their hope to be as tall someday.
