Joseph Gist Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, was found shot to death on June 29, 2020, inside a home in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:39 a.m., in the 900 block of North Central Park Avenue. Joseph Gist Jr. was discovered with gunshot wounds to his chin and face and was pronounced dead at the scene by officials.
