Natalia Victoria Wallace, a 7-year-old African American girl, was tragically shot and killed on July 4, 2020, in Chicago, Illinois. Kevin Boyd, 35, was found guilty of murder, aggravated battery, and aggravated discharge of a firearm. However, Reginald Merrill, 37, who was alleged to be the getaway driver, was acquitted of all charges due to insufficient evidence.
The case against the other two suspects, Terrell Boyd and Davion Mitchell, is still pending.
