Rebbie Plunkett, a 27-year-old woman from Freeport, Illinois, was tragically murdered on August 4, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when police responded to a call about shots being fired in the 200 block of North Adelbert Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the door to an apartment open and discovered Rebbie Plunkett inside, having suffered multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
