Jeremy Jackson, a 33-year-old African American male from East Moline, Illinois, tragically lost his life on August 30, 2020. He was found with a gunshot wound near the border of Silvis and East Moline. The incident occurred around 3:23 a.m. when local police responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 19th Street and 18th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Jeremy Jackson with a critical gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
