Ryan Bost, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 9, 2020, in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Bost, a former basketball star at Evanston Township High School, was sitting in the back seat of a vehicle when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the 6700 block of North Newgard Avenue. According to reports, an unknown assailant approached the vehicle, exchanged words with Bost, and then opened fire, striking him in the chest.
