Demetrius Watkins, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on March 22, 2021, in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5 p.m. when Demetrius was in the 4700 block of South Calumet Avenue. According to reports, two males approached and fired multiple shots at him, striking him in the torso, back, and buttocks.
