Carl Taylor Jr., a 32-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on April 18, 2021, in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. in the 600 block of North Spaulding Avenue. According to the Chicago police, Carl Taylor Jr. was struck multiple times by gunfire.
