Kandon-Lee I'yohann Bonner, a 20-year-old African American male from Peoria, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 27, 2021. The incident occurred late on the night of May 26, 2021, when Peoria police responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the 3600 block of West Hedgehill Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered an abandoned vehicle and, nearby, the lifeless body of Kandon Bonner.
