Death by Force

Ogonnia Okeke, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 1, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. Okeke was working on his dirt bike on the back porch of a home in the 9100 block of South Wentworth when he was ambushed by at least two gunmen who exited an SUV and opened fire. The attack left Okeke mortally wounded, and police found shell casings from three different firearms at the scene. This incident was part of a violent conflict between rival street gangs in Chicago.
