Ogonnia Okeke, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on June 1, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. Federal prosecutors have charged four men in connection with the murder of Ogonnia Okeke. The accused include Joshua Broughton, 34, Grieg Macon, 27, Christopher Singleton, 24, and Jaron Davis, 22. These individuals are alleged members of the Rack City gang, which has been in a violent rivalry with a faction of the Gangster Disciples, the gang to which Okeke was affiliated. The charges against them include racketeering and firearm offenses, with the indictment alleging that the murder was committed to maintain and increase their positions within the gang.

The FBI's investigation included search warrants on social media accounts, which uncovered incriminating messages and videos that linked the suspects to the crime.
