Devonta Perry, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on September 10, 2021, in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. in the 5500 block of West Adams Street. According to reports, Devonta Perry was standing in front of a home when he was shot in the head and shoulder.
