Rayton Brock, a 15-year-old African American boy from Peoria, Illinois, was tragically killed on October 22, 2021. His death marked the 26th homicide in Peoria for that year, setting a grim record for the city. Rayton had been reported missing ten days prior to his death, and his body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in an alley on North California Avenue.
