Jeremiah McIntosh, a 33-year-old African American man, was found shot to death on November 27, 2021, in the Avalon Park neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. He was discovered under a viaduct in the 8100 block of South Anthony Avenue around 7:30 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds, including a fatal wound to his head. He was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
