Xavier Harvey, a 33-year-old African American male, was found dead on April 1, 2022, in Maywood, Illinois. His body was discovered inside a vehicle at the intersection of 10th and Lexington Avenues. Harvey had suffered a single gunshot wound, which was determined to be the cause of his death. The discovery of his body prompted an immediate investigation by the Maywood Police Department.
