Dexter Flowers, a 48-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2022, in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Dexter Flowers was fatally shot in the face around 9:15 a.m. in the 6200 block of South Campbell Avenue. He was immediately transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were initially unclear, and the incident left the community in shock and mourning.
