Kier Carmichael-Smith, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on April 30, 2022, in the Kenwood neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. in a parking lot located in the 1300 block of East 47th Street. According to reports, a light-colored vehicle approached the parking lot, and an individual inside the vehicle opened fire on Carmichael-Smith.
