Black / African American male Malik Adams, 26, was walking just before 10 p.m. on June 5, 2022, along the 100 block of North Kenton Avenue in Chicago's West Garfield Park when a group of people stepped from a vehicle and opened fire.
He was struck multiple times, suffering eleven gunshot wounds to the torso, rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, and pronounced dead there, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner.
