Alshaud J. Scarbough, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on July 24, 2022, while sitting in a car in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago. The incident occurred around 6:05 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Roosevelt Road. Scarbough was struck in the head and leg by gunfire. Despite being transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries approximately an hour later.
