On August 27, 2009, Erica Yolanda Carr, a 37-year-old corrections officer, was tragically shot and killed in Baltimore, Maryland. Erica Carr was found inside her SUV on Kenhill Avenue in East Baltimore, with gunshot wounds to her head and chest.
