On the night of July 8, 2016, Molly Kenna McAuley, a well-known space economist, was brutally stabbed to death while walking her dogs near her home in the Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred at around 11 p.m. on West University Parkway, only a block away from her residence.
