In the quiet, upscale neighborhood of Roland Park in Baltimore, Maryland, the evening of July 8, 2016, took a tragic turn. Molly Kenna McAuley, a 59-year-old female, was taking her two beloved dogs for their routine nightly walk. An accomplished and respected economist, McAuley was the vice president for research at Resources for the Future, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank.
