Lupe Gomez, a 43-year-old Hispanic woman from Oak Forest, Illinois, tragically lost her life on September 23, 2022, in a harrowing incident that also claimed the lives of her two children, Briana Rodriguez, 22, and Emilio Rodriguez, 20. The events unfolded early in the morning when Lupe's estranged husband, Carlos Gomez, 44, shot her and their children outside their home on Ann Marie Lane. Following the shooting, Carlos barricaded himself inside the house and set it on fire before taking his own life with a gunshot to the head.
