Hubert Lee Benston, age 38, was shot and killed on October 20, 2009, in Baltimore, Maryland. His death was part of a violent period in the city, which was struggling with a high rate of homicides. Benston was found in the Northeast District of Baltimore suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and despite rapid response by emergency services, he succumbed to his injuries.
