Roy Hoffman, a 77-year-old white male from Fox Lake, IL, was tragically shot and killed in his home on December 12, 2022. Hoffman, a Vietnam War veteran who had received two Purple Heart medals, was found deceased in his kitchen by his upstairs neighbor, Eric Paszczyk, who discovered Hoffman's body after hearing a gunshot.
