Javaris J. Milan, a 30-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2022, in Decatur, Illinois. On New Year's Eve, Decatur Police Department responded to a report of a man shot multiple times on the 1000 block of E. Pearl St. Upon arrival, they found Javaris J. Milan with several gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
