In the confines of the Bibb County jail, a violent altercation erupted on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, leading to the death of 22-year-old Breele Jahiem Johnson. The male inmate was fatally stabbed just two days after his birthday. The incident, which occurred in the D-block of the downtown Macon facility, also left four other inmates injured.
