In the heart of downtown Brunswick, Georgia, a day of ordinary comings and goings turned into a scene of terror and tragedy. A young man, twenty-year-old Gunnar Tolnas, was riding his bicycle when he was suddenly struck down by a shotgun blast to his back. He would succumb to the grievous wound several days later. His life was cut short in a shocking outburst of violence that left an indelible mark on the city.
