A quiet home in Leesburg, Georgia, became the scene of a devastating tragedy on February 17, 1981. On that day, 10-month-old Stephanie Renee Barnes, a female infant, was found dead, a victim of gun violence. The violence did not spare other members of her family. Her mother, Ivy 'Joyce' Powell Barnes, 34, and her three-year-old sister, Amber Marie Barnes, were also killed in the incident.
