In the quiet community of Leesburg, Georgia, a devastating event unfolded on February 17, 1981, forever altering the lives of a local family. On that day, three-year-old Amber Marie Barnes, a young female, was tragically killed. The violence that claimed her life also took two other members of her family: thirty-four-year-old Ivy 'Joyce' Powell Barnes and the youngest, ten-month-old Stephanie Renee Barnes. All three were victims of fatal shootings.
