On a summer evening in Muscogee, Georgia, the routine of a service station manager was irrevocably shattered in a brief and violent encounter. Billy Lynn, a 59-year-old White male, was fatally shot on June 27, 1990, during an attempted armed robbery at the Premium Oil gas station he managed. His death was the tragic culmination of a crime spree orchestrated by four men with a desperate and ill-conceived plan.
