Billy Ray Jiles, a 42-year-old white male, was tragically killed on September 3, 2002, in Carrollton, Georgia. Lieutenant Jiles, who had served in law enforcement for 20 years, was responding to a report of an arson attempt at his ex-wife's house in Villa Rica.
