In the early morning hours of Monday, January 20, 2014, a dispute in the parking lot of the El Ranchero restaurant on Old National Highway in College Park, Georgia, escalated into a fatal shooting. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Kelvin Hunter of Atlanta.

According to the College Park Police, an altercation broke out between two small groups of people. During the course of the argument, a suspect drew a small-caliber handgun and shot Hunter. Emergency services were called to the ...
