On the evening of July 24, 2014, a tragic and fatal encounter unfolded in Gordon, Georgia. Taurus Javon Lewis, a 37-year-old African American man from Baldwin County, was shot and killed outside a residence at 110 Burney Road. The incident, which took place at approximately 8:15 p.m., left the community in shock and searching for answers.
