Charles Paul "Cowboy" Mills, a 35-year-old white male, was found dead on September 28, 2014, in Elberton, Georgia. His body was discovered in the trunk of his burning car on Georgia State Route 368, also known as Anderson Highway. Mills' body was badly burned, and investigators determined that he had been shot at a mobile home on Project Road in Iva, South Carolina, before his car was driven into Georgia and set on fire.
