On January 13, 2015, Jose De Jesus Cabral-Orozco, a 22-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was shot while standing with a group of people in the yard of a residence in Rose Park. The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m. when a suspect approached and opened fire on the gathered individuals.
