Hershel Key, a 77-year-old white male, was found dead on March 25, 2015, in Mount Airy, Georgia. The investigation into his death revealed that it was a case of murder-suicide. Key had a long-standing dispute with his neighbor, Ronald Ramey, a 68-year-old white male. On the day of the incident, Key shot Ramey with a .30-30 rifle while Ramey was working on his fence. After shooting Ramey, Key went to his backyard and took his own life with a 12-gauge shotgun.
