In the summer of 2015, the life of 35-year-old Stephanie Valarie Daniel was tragically cut short. A former resident of Calhoun, Georgia, she was fatally shot on July 6, 2015. Born on October 3, 1979, in Whitfield County, Georgia, Stephanie was a mother to two daughters.

The investigation into her death led to the arrest and subsequent conviction of Fred Charles for malice murder and other related offenses in connection with the shooting. Following his conviction, Charles appealed the verd ...
