Valerie Castillo, an 18-year-old female from Los Angeles, California, tragically lost her life on February 10, 2017, in Calhoun, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Calhoun Tobacco and Food Mart, located on Highway 41. According to reports, the event was a result of a domestic dispute that escalated into a murder-suicide. Valerie Castillo was found unresponsive behind the counter of the store by responding officers. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
