Barbara Ann Lawrence, a 43-year-old woman from Eatonton, GA, tragically lost her life on September 27, 2015. The circumstances surrounding her death were both shocking and heartbreaking. Barbara was found dead outside her home, having been fatally shot by her husband, Richard B. Smith. Richard, aged 47, subsequently took his own life after committing the act. The incident was discovered when Barbara did not show up for work at a nearby hospital, prompting a welfare check by the authorities.
