Jimeshia Gordon, a 24-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 25, 2016, in St. Marys, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Cumberland Oaks Apartments, where she was shot just after 7 p.m. Gordon was airlifted to UF Health Jacksonville, but unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries.
