Kyree Shakur Smith, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on November 28, 2016, in Buford, Georgia. The incident occurred outside a McDonald's restaurant on Hamilton Mill Road in Dacula, a suburb of Buford. On that fateful evening, Kyree was found inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by a passenger in his car and a witness to administer CPR, Kyree was pronounced dead at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville.
