Dectric Searcy, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically killed in a home invasion in Ellenwood, Georgia, on February 20, 2017. The incident occurred just after midnight at a residence on Chester Lane. According to reports, Searcy was confronted by two suspects in his garage after he had exited his vehicle.
