In the early morning hours of Saturday, May 13, 2017, the quiet of a Douglas, Georgia community was broken by a grim discovery. Inside a residence at 6280 Hwy 32 West, 57-year-old Oletha Brady, a female, was found unresponsive. When deputies from the Coffee County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene around 1:00 AM, they found Brady deceased from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
