In the early hours of Sunday, May 21, 2017, a burst of violence in a parking lot on Fairburn Road in southwest Atlanta claimed the life of Terry Tolbert, a 30-year-old Black male. Responding to a call about a shooting at approximately 1:40 a.m., Atlanta police discovered Tolbert suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
