Curtis Bernard Billue, a 58-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 13, 2017, in Eatonton, Georgia. Sergeant Billue, along with Sergeant Christopher Monica, was transporting 33 prisoners between Hancock State Prison and Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison when they were attacked by two inmates.
